Terp of the Week: Maryland's Brenna Nation, Taylor Hensh and Madison Nickens all turned in strong performances

After Kacie Longo of Maryland women's lacrosse scored her first career hat trick against Hofstra, you rewarded her with more than 250 votes and the title of Testudo Times Terp of the Week.

We have a stacked lineup of contestants for this week's poll. The athletes vying for Testudo Times Terp of the Week are: men's basketball's Jake Layman, women's lacrosse's Taylor Cummings and Taylor Hensh, softball's Brenna Nation, men's lacrosse's Kyle Bernlohr and Colin Heacock and baseball's Madison Nickens.

Jake Layman, Men's Basketball -

Layman scored a game-high 26 points to lead Maryland past Nebraska in the quarterfinals of the Big Ten Tournament.

Taylor Cummings, Women's Lacrosse -

Cummings scored a hat trick in an expeditious 2:30 in the second half to help the top-ranked Terps beat No. 3 Syracuse.

Taylor Hensh, Women's Lacrosse -

Hensh scored a game-high and career-high four goals and added an assist to help No. 1 Maryland beat No. 3 Syracuse on the road.

Brenna Nation, Softball -

Nation hurled her first career no-hitter against St. Louis. She's the first pitcher to throw a no-hitter for Maryland since Madison Martin did it in March of 2013.

Kyle Bernlohr, Men's Lacrosse -

In three quarters of work, Bernlohr made nine saves and only allowed four goals as Maryland drubbed Princeton. He added another nine saves in a win over Drexel.

Colin Heacock, Men's Lacrosse -

Heacock scored a career-high four goals to help Maryland beat Drexel.

Madison Nickens, Baseball -

Nickens hit two home runs and racked up four RBIs in a loss to GW.
