How'd She Get to College Park?

Pfirman was ranked as the number five forward and number 22 overall player by ESPN's Hoopgurlz.com and was a four time AP All-State player in Pennsylvania. Pfirman was something of a scoring machine in high school finishing with over 2,300 career points. Pfirman chose Maryland over Vanderbilt, Iowa State and Northwestern among others. College Park's proximity to home, the family atmosphere and style of play influenced her choice of Maryland.

Career Highlight

Had 14 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and a steal in Maryland's win over Ohio State in the Terps' first ever B1G conference game.

Dream Season

Earns the starting job at the small forward and becomes the key complementary player in scoring, rebounds and assists as the Terps strive for a third consecutive Final Four.

2015-16 Prospectus

Pfirman has shown flashes of talent in every phase of the game but has yet to demonstrate the consistency that will keep her on the floor for long stretches. Pfirman has a terrific midrange game that could open space for Maryland's powerful front court and she should assume a leadership role. She will undoubtedly produce key moments as she has throughout her career at Maryland. If she can be consistent, she'll make the Terps all the more dangerous.
