Wide receiver Amba Etta-Tawo is transferring from Maryland for his senior season, he announced Tuesday on Twitter.

The wideout says he will "explore graduate transfer opportunities," so it appears he will be able to play right away wherever he chooses to go. He is not currently listed on Maryland's roster.
In three seasons at Maryland, he tallied 61 catches for 938 yards and three touchdowns. His career highs in all three of those categories came during his redshirt freshman season in 2013. The Georgia native was fourth on the team in catches and fifth in receiving yards in 2015.
Etta-Tawo looked to be an odd man out in Maryland's wide receiver corps for 2016, as Levern Jacobs, D.J. Moore, Taivon Jacobs and potentially Tino Ellis all stood in his way on next season's depth chart. It makes sense that he'd want to go somewhere he can get consistent reps for his last collegiate season.
