Maryland's game at Syracuse on Sept. 20 will kick off at 12:30 p.m. and be televised on the ACC Network.
Syracuse-Maryland’s Sept. 20 football game will be played at 12:30 on the ACC Network, the conference announced.— Daily Orange Sports (@DOsports) September 8, 2014
Syracuse came to Byrd Stadium last season and dominated Maryland in a 20-3 win. In the absence of Stefon Diggs and Deon Long, the Terps ran the ball for a 2.3-yard average, while the Orange racked up nearly 250 yards on the ground.
The only nice moment of the afternoon was Maryland's long-due recognition of Wilmeth Sidat-Singh, a black Syracuse player who Maryland had barred from a game three quarters of a century earlier.
We don't yet know where the game will be televised locally, but there are local affiliates that have carried the ACC Network in the past. As the game nears, expect an announcement on specific details on how Maryland fans can watch the game.
