Plummer is a massive 6'7 and 300 pounds, and the three-star prospect is rated the No. 44 player in Maryland and the No. 155 offensive tackle anywhere in the 2016 class. He's one of two tackle commits in Maryland's new crop of players, along with Ohio three-star Terek Zingale. Maryland had two other tackle commits at various points, but both Alex Hall and Michael Clark ultimately decommitted from the program.
Maryland has a lot of offensive tackle options on its roster, and it's almost a certainty that both Plummer and Zingale will redshirt. But Plummer is enormous even for the Big Ten, and he'll be an exciting project for Maryland offensive line coach Dave Borbely. If you can add muscle to 6'7-300 and teach that frame to move, you've got a monster.
