Maryland just closed the book on its 2016 recruiting class (pending any late additions), but the Terps have already very much gotten started on 2017. Three-star Massachusetts tight end Alexander Marshall, who's also drawn interest from Clemson, Michigan, Georgia and Penn State, among others, announced a Maryland offer on Tuesday night.
The Terps have been pretty busy in this regard. We'll roll out a more detailed 2017 recruiting breakdown in the next week, but plenty of prospects have been tweeting about offers from DJ Durkin's staff. Some others from the last few days:

No surprises here really. Maryland finds themselves in the top half of the field in this projection....barely.

Lefty Driesell: Terps Have A Chance To Be 'Best Maryland Team Of All Time'
"These guys have got a chance to be the best Maryland team of all time," Driesell said. "... They are really good, and Mark is a wonderful coach. I watched practice [Feb. 5], and I watched the shootaround on [Feb. 6], and I was very, very impressed. He knows what he's doing."

Interestingly enough, going against the recent 'one-and-done' trend in collegiate hoops, the only impact freshman on any top 10 team (currently, and perhaps up for some debate) is Maryland's own Diamond Stone.
Women's Basketball:
Shatori Walker-Kimbrough limited in Maryland women’s basketball’s loss to Ohio State - The Diamondback
Walker-Kimbrough only finished with 14 points, which is not terrible, but certainly less than what we Terp fans were getting used to. That accompanied with some poor shooting and many, many turnovers resulted in a loss for Maryland.
