Indiana quarterback Max Bortenschlager has committed to Maryland, he announced Saturday on Twitter.

The Indianapolis product committed while on an official visit to campus, according to Ahmed Ghafir of Inside Maryland Sports. He had previously been committed to Buffalo.
The Terps also earned a commitment from Florida defensive back Qwuantrezz Knight.
Bortenschlager, the No. 75 pro-style quarterback in the class of 2016 and the No. 27 player in Indiana, was previously committed to Buffalo. He is the only quarterback commit in Maryland's class of 2016 now that Dwayne Haskins has flipped to Ohio State. The Terps are also targeting Louisiana dual threat Lindsey Scott and Alabama dual threat Tyrrell Pigrome.
Bortenschlager stands at 6'3 and 185 pounds., according to his 247Sports listing. He also has offers from Eastern Michigan, Western Illinois, Colgate and Ball State.
