The Maryland Terrapins fell to No. 18 in the latest AP Top 25 poll. The Terps also fell to No. 15 in the latest Coaches Poll, released Monday afternoon. The Terps defeated Illinois at home on Thursday but lost by almost 20 points to Indiana on the road Sunday evening. This marks the second consecutive week that Maryland has not been among the top 10 in the AP or Coaches Poll.

Michigan State remained as the No. 2 team in the AP Poll and No. 3 in the Coaches Poll after beating both Rutgers and Ohio State last week. The Indiana Hoosiers, who were the Big Ten's regular season champions, moved up to No. 10 in both polls this week. Purdue, who defeated both Nebraska and Wisconsin to earn the No. 4 seed in the Big Ten Tournament, checked in at No. 13 in both polls as well. Iowa fell to No. 20 in the AP and No. 18 in the Coaches this week. Wisconsin was once again unranked in the AP Poll but No. 25 in this week's Coaches Poll.

Kansas was once again the No. 1 team in this week's Coaches Poll, followed by Villanova at No. 2, Michigan State at No. 3, Virginia at No. 4, and Xavier at No. 5.
