Maryland's Melo Trimble is still being mentioned in the same breath as the best players in college basketball. Trimble was named to the Wooden Award late season top 20 Wednesday. He's the only Terrapin on the list, which was cut down from 25.
Trimble leads the No. 2 Terps with 14.4 points and 5.3 assists per game, and has been the maestro of a star-studded offense this season.
He joins Michigan State's Denzel Valentine, Iowa's Jarrod Uthoff and Indiana's Yogi Ferrell as Big Ten representatives still on the list.

Trimble got some rest Tuesday as Jaylen Brantley played most of the second-half minutes in Maryland's blowout win over Division-II Bowie State. He should be ready to go on Saturday when the Terps welcome Wisconsin to Xfinity Center.
The winner of the Wooden award will be announced on April 8.
