ESPN's 'College Gameday' profiles Maryland basketball guard Rasheed Sulaimon

The Maryland senior gets a short but in-depth treatment from the Worldwide Leader.

The Maryland men's basketball team is in East Lansing on Saturday to face the Michigan State Spartans, and ESPN's flagship program "College Gameday" is on site at the Breslin Center to cover the festivities.

During Saturday morning's show, ESPN aired what I think's a pretty good feature on Rasheed Sulaimon, the Maryland senior shooting guard and Duke transfer. It's an interesting time for Sulaimon, who could wind up returning to his hometown of Houston in a few weeks with Maryland – for the NCAA Tournament's Final Four.

(Update: The video isn't playing on mobile phones, so I've removed it from Twitter but feel it's worth sharing here anyway.) You can also find it on ESPN's website.

Sulaimon is averaging career highs in assists (3.7) and rebounds (3.3) for Maryland this season, and he's at double figures in scoring (10.4) for the first time since his freshman year at Duke. He's had up and down games offensively, but he's emerged as Maryland's best perimeter defender and an important component to what coach Mark Turgeon has suggested is the best backcourt in the country. He'll be important down the line.
