Photo gallery: Maryland basketball obliterates Ohio State

Maryland's beatdown of Ohio State captured in photographs.

Editor's note, by Ryan Connors:

Maryland handed Ohio State its worst victory since Thad Matta took over as the team's coach, eviscerating the Buckeyes 100-65 at Xfinity Center.

Robert Carter Jr. had one of his best performances in a Maryland uniform, tallying a career-high 25 points in the blowout. Melo Trimble was quiet on the offensive end, but still came close to a double-double with 8 points and 9 assists. Freshman center Diamond Stone finished with 15 points and 6 rebounds, his 10th game in a row with 10-plus points. The Terps put their first conference loss, suffered Tuesday at Michigan, far in the rear-view mirror.

Ohio State is far from the worst team Maryland has played this season, but the Terps couldn't miss from three after going 6-for-24 from beyond the arc against Michigan. Carter helped out by going 4-of-4 from deep.

Our Sung-Min Kim was there to capture the win in glorious still form, including some beautiful shots of the players, the fans, Testudo, and a spectacular sign from the Turgeonites.
