The Maryland men's basketball takes on defensive juggernaut Rhode Island at the Cancun Challenge on Wednesday night, live from the Hard Rock Riviera Maya in Mexico.

The Terps, ranked No. 2 in the country, beat Illinois State on Tuesday. Right before that, the Rams beat TCU, setting the two teams up for what should be a pretty interesting matchup. Maryland has been uneven through four games, and the Rams have the kind of defensive prowess that could spell an upset even without Maryland playing all that badly.
