Maryland vs. Wake Forest: Game time, TV schedule, live radio streaming, odds and more

The Terps welcome their only home foe from the state of North Carolina this season to College Park.

Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY Sports

Maryland looks to bounce back after two losses in a row at Virginia and at Duke against another school from North Carolina, Wake Forest, to get back to .500 in the ACC. The Terps return to the Comcast Center to take the Demon Deacons where they are 4-1 in ACC play. Maryland's bubble chances seem to be shrinking smaller and smaller, and a loss to a team toward the bottom of the conference must be avoided for there to be any hope.

Wake Forest goes into the game desperately needing a win, having lost five in a row against Syracuse, Georgia Tech, at Duke, at North Carolina State and Florida State. The Demon Deacons started out conference play well, with wins over rivals North Carolina and North Carolina State in their first four games, but have had a significant drop off since. This is the first and only time an ACC North Carolina team will make the trip up to College Park this season.

The numbers

Rankings and records: Neither team is ranked. Maryland stands at 14-12 (6-7 and tied for 8th in the ACC) and Wake Forest holds a 14-11 record (4-8 and tied for 11th in the ACC). The Terps have won seven straight against the Demon Deacons, including all three matchups last season. Maryland's history with Wake Forest dates back to 1936 when Wake Forest joined the Terrapins in the Southern Conference. Maryland leads the all-time series 69-56.

Vegas: Maryland is favored by ten points.
