Five-star Class of 2018 center Moses Brown has narrowed his list down to Maryland, UCLA, Florida State and either Duke or Kentucky, ESPN’s Jeff Borzello is reporting.
He seems to be in no hurry to make a decision any time soon as he ponders which school—Duke or Kentucky—will get his final visit. Borzello is also reporting that Brown will wait until after the early signing period and perhaps even until after his senior season to make a final choice.
Brown had reportedly been close to making a decision shortly after his official visit to Maryland, but held off as the big recruiting scandal rocked the landscape of college basketball just a few days later. Coincidentally, Louisville and Arizona fell off his radar almost immediately afterward.
Maryland has long been the favorite for Brown and hold all 10 Crystal Ball expert predictions. The Terps already have the No. 6 class in the country, per the 247Sports team rankings, and should have room for two more scholarship players in the Class of 2018. Adding Brown would likely solidify a top-five class, and adding Brown plus another prospect could give Maryland its highest-rated class ever.
