Maryland women’s lacrosse has reached the national title game for the fifth season in a row, and the Terps are seeking their third championship in four years Sunday against Boston College.
These teams met on March 8 in College Park, with Maryland winning 21-13. However, the Eagles have kept improving ever since. They’ve reached the finals as an unseeded team, but taking down top-seeded and undefeated Maryland is a tall task.
Maryland beat Penn State, 20-10, in Friday’s first semifinal, while Boston College held off Navy, 16-15, in the second game. A Terps win would complete the 23-0 season they just missed last year.
We’ll use this space for all of you to share your thoughts while Maryland chases history.
