Maryland baseball and men’s lacrosse will not be in action Saturday, as both teams’ scheduled contests have been postponed due to weather.
The second-ranked men’s lacrosse team was slated to visit No. 12 Albany at 3 p.m. ET, but the Saturday afternoon weather there looked like this:
The game has been rescheduled for April 12, the team announced on Twitter.
The baseball team’s second leg of a three-game set against Bryant was called off because of cold temperatures in College Park. First pitch was initially scheduled for 2 p.m. ET. The Terps and Bulldogs will instead play a doubleheader Sunday, starting at noon.
Maryland won the first game of the series, 7-1, to extend its winning streak to six games. The Terps will look to bring that number to eight by the end of the series.
There’s still action in College Park, though, as the No. 1 Maryland women’s lacrosse team hosts No. 4 Syracuse at 1 p.m. Here’s our preview.
