Eight Maryland men's lacrosse players were named to the USILA All-American Team on Saturday.
Senior midfielder Bryan Cole, junior short-stick midfielder Isaiah Davis-Allen, junior attackman Matt Rambo, senior defender Matt Dunn, senior goalie Kyle Bernlohr, senior long-stick midfielder Greg Danseglio, junior defender Tim Muller and junior attackman Colin Heacock all garnered All-American honors.
Cole and Davis-Allen were named to the first team while Rambo, Dunn and Bernlohr were named to the second team. Danseglio and Tim Muller were named to the third team, and Heacock was named as an Honorable Mention.
Eight All-Americans is an astounding number, and it showcases not just Maryland's talent, but its balance as well. Cole, Rambo and Heacock star on offense, Davis-Allen and Danseglio are two of the best wings in the country while Muller, Dunn and Bernlohr lead the nation's fourth-ranked scoring defense.
The Terps will take on the nation's top-scoring offense in Brown in the national semifinal on Saturday afternoon. The game will be televised on ESPN2 at 2:30 p.m. ET.
