Maryland women’s basketball moved up three spots in the AP Top 25 poll, coming at No. 9 Monday.

The Terps are on an eight-game winning streak and remain undefeated in Big Ten play. This is the 194th week in 17 seasons that the Terps have made the top-10 of the poll.

Maryland had an impressive week starting with a four-point win over ranked Indiana. Brenda Frese’s squad then headed to East Lansing, Michigan on Thursday where they topped then-ranked Michigan State, 93-87. The Terps closed out their week with a dominant defensive performance against Purdue at home, winning 83-46.

The Terps are set to travel to the Midwest this week. On Thursday, Maryland will head to Minnesota to take on the Golden Gophers (2-6), and then Sunday to Madison, Wisconsin for a matchup against the Badgers (3-6).
