NCAA Womens Basketball: Maryland at Connecticut David Butler II-USA TODAY Sports

It’s the 110th episode of the Testudo Times Podcast, and we’re all now figuring out how to live life after the Terps were snubbed from the NIT.

Thomas and our women’s basketball/lacrosse writer Justin Fitzgerald joined the show to go over these topics and more:

  • The Terps were snubbed from the NIT. It feels really weird. What are the lasting memories going to be from this basketball season gone by that almost entirely went wrong?
  • The women are off to Raleigh for the first and second rounds of the tournament. Did they deserve a higher seed, and how will they perform in their quest to go back to the Sweet 16?
  • Quick notes on the men’s lacrosse loss to Albany and the women demolishing Syracuse, with some baseball and softball notes as well.

A reminder to please join the Testudo Times Bracket Challenge, even though the Terps aren’t in the dance this year. It will be good fun, and the winner gets their name in lights on the website and the podcast! That’s great, right? Enjoy the show!
