It’s the 164th episode of the Testudo Times Podcast, and for the 2019 Maryland football team, this is the beginning of a journey. For this show, it’s a bit of an end.
Thomas, Lila and new podcast host Matt Levine joined me to preview the 2019 season. Here, we talked about:
- Josh Jackson is the starting QB. How high does he raise the ceiling for the team?
- Maryland might have its deepest set of skill position players in some time. Can they raise the ceiling of this offense to another level?
- Mike Locksley is running a completely new defense, and has transformed the front seven. Is there enough there to compete in the B1G this season?
- What are the reasonable expectations for this team, and how many wins do we all think they will get?
While we went over that, this is my last show as host of podcast as it has been constructed for the last four and a half years. I’ve immensely enjoyed hosting it and being part of this website for so long with so many great people and so much great discussion on quite often not-so-great Maryland sports happenings. I will miss it, but I know Matt, Lila and the new group have great plans for this show going forward. I will be listening, and I hope you all will too. Enjoy the show!
