Maryland will look to shock the world and pull of its biggest upset in program history as it heads to Ohio State to face off with the No. 3 ranked team in the country (No. 1 in playoff rankings).
The Terps come into the matchup reeling and in the midst of a four-game losing streak that has featured many blowout matchups. Saturday will not be any easier for the Maryland as it plays the best team in the country, currently.
One thing the Terps do have going for them is that Maryland native star defensive end Chase Young will not be suiting up for the Buckeyes, as he is out for a potential NCAA rules violation. If the Terps want to pull off the upset, the defense will need to figure out how to stop the star duo on offense of quarterback Justin Fields and running back J.K. Dobbins.
Ohio State leads the overall series with Maryland 5-0. The Buckeyes won last year’s matchup in an overtime shootout, 52-51.
The game will be broadcast on Fox.
