After a tough week following a bye, Panthers receiver DJ Moore bounced back in a big way against the Titans to produce arguably his best game of the season en route to a Panthers’ 30-20 win.
Moore, a 2018 first round pick, hauled in seven catches on a season-high 101 yards and a team-leading 10 targets. While the former Terp didn’t find the endzone after making an extremely tough grab midway through the third quarter, he did seem extremely comfortable with Kyle Allen at quarterback, which hasn’t always been the case this season.

Moore had been a bit inconsistent since Cam Newton went down with a foot injury early in the season, but will look to finish the season strong, regardless of who is playing quarterback. Overall Moore has been extremely solid this season, but has still struggled to score touchdowns, as he did last season.
Other Standout Performers
Yannick Ngakoue turned in another impressive performance, this time in London as the Jaguars lost in blowout fashion to the Texans, 26-3. Ngakoue recorded five total tackles, two of which were tackles for loss.
Ngakoue has been on a tear recently, putting opposing offensive lines to shame. The now four year pro is building a strong case to make it to his second career Pro Bowl at the conclusion of this season.
Stefon Diggs came back down to earth this past week with a rough showing in the Vikings 26-23 loss to the Chiefs. The star receiver recorded only one catch for four yards and one rush for 12 yards to mark his worst performance of an extremely up and down season.
Diggs came into the game looking for his fourth straight game with 140-plus yards, but ended up coming well short of extending the impressive streak. The one positive for Diggs from Sunday’s game was that he paid homage to the newly restocked Popeyes chicken sandwich with his cleats this week. Diggs is continuing to build his reputation as having the best cleats in the NFL.

Other Terps in Action
- Darnell Savage continued to be a force for the Packers, even in defeat. The rookie safety recorded six total tackles in the Packers 26-11 loss to the Chargers.
- Ty Johnson had another fairly quiet week in his second game after the Kerryon Johnson injury. Johnson led the Lions backfield with nine carries, but only recorded 29 yards rushing and three catches for seven yards.
- Former Terp Trey Edmunds returned to the Steelers this week, and did so in style. After receiving just one carry the week prior against the Dolphins, the former practice squad player led the Steelers with 12 rushes and recorded 73 yards, with a long rush of 45 yards, in Pittsburgh’s 26-24 win over the Colts.
- JC Jackson and Byron Cowart each recorded a tackle in the Patriots first loss of the season to the Ravens.
- Jermaine Carter was quiet in the Panthers win, not recording any defensive statistics.
- Quinton Jefferson of the Seahawks and Vernon Davis of the Redskins each missed another game with injuries. Jefferson is dealing with an oblique injury, while Davis is dealing with a concussion and has missed the past several games with the same injury.
- Josh Woods was a healthy scratch for the Bears this week and Sean Davis remains on the IR for the Steelers.
