Game thread: Maryland football vs Rutgers

Follow along with your fellow Terps fans for the team’s Big Ten opener.

Maryland football is in Piscataway, New Jersey, for its first Big Ten road game of the year against Rutgers.

The Terps and Scarlet Knights are coming off of shutout losses against then-No. 20 Michigan and No. 12 Penn State, where they lost by a combined 111 points.

Following Rutgers’ third loss of the season to Michigan, the program fired its head coach, Chris Ash and offensive coordinator Johny McNulty. Now tight ends coach Nunzio Campaile will serve as the interim head coach and offensive coordinator. Along with those departures, starting quarterback Artur Sitkowski told the program that he plans to redshirt, thrusting redshirt freshman Johnny Langan into his first collegiate start.

As always, this is your space for thoughts, observations or whatever you would like to share, but be respectful.
