Nine weeks of college football have already gone by, and the latest Testudo Times FanPulse Top 25 poll is out.
In August, we asked you to sign up for the SB Nation FanPulse community, where readers will be able to vote for their own college football top 25 poll and also participate in surveys. But don’t worry — if you weren’t able to sign up in time for the Week 9 poll, you can still join to share your input HERE.
The percentage of fans confident in the direction of the Maryland football program dropped to a new season low last week, and the same can be said for the poll before that. But this week, the number has taken an even more dramatic turn.
Through nine weeks of the college football season, only 26.1 percent of Terps’ fans surveyed are confident in the direction of the program. Last week, it was at 50 percent, but a 52-10 loss to then-No. 17 Minnesota sent people’s hopes plummeting even more.

There was a big shakeup in this week’s Top 25, with four teams knocked out, two teams brought back in and two teams ranked for the first time this season.
Though Maryland fans are clearly upset with the 2019 season so far, at least they can be happy that Texas is out of the rankings this week after falling to 5-3 with a 37-27 loss to TCU. Arizona State, Virginia and Virginia Tech all also fell out of the Top 25 with losses.
Michigan re-entered the rankings at No. 17 after taking down a Top-10 Notre Dame team 45-14. Iowa comes back in at No. 24, while Louisiana Tech, Memphis are ranked for the first time, at No. 25 and No. 23, respectively.
And here is the top-25 from readers across SB Nation’s college network. This was calculated by averaging all the team-specific polls.

There aren’t too many major changes between the two polls, but the rest of the SB Nation college network ranked LSU in the top spot ahead of Alabama.
Be sure to sign up if you haven’t already, and get ready to vote in the next poll after Week 10 of the college football season. And shortly, a college basketball poll will be dropping.
