GameThread: Maryland football vs. Minnesota

Follow along as the Terps play their Big Ten opener.

NCAA Football: Temple at Maryland Art Pittman-USA TODAY Sports

After winning its first two games and getting surprisingly blown out by Temple, the Maryland football team starts Big Ten play against Minnesota today. The game kicks off at noon on BTN.

Yesterday afternoon, Maryland was found culpable in the death of offensive lineman Jordan McNair, as the long-awaited Walters report laid out the failings of the training staff. The Terps are still in head coaching limbo, with DJ Durkin on leave and Matt Canada acting as the head coach, and that will continue for at least one more game (Maryland is on bye this coming week).

If the Terps beat Minnesota, they’ll be 3-1 for the second consecutive season. As always, this is your space to share in-game thoughts and observations with your fellow Maryland fans. Be respectful, and go Terps.
