Maryland football hosts Temple on Saturday, Oct. 15 at Maryland Stadium. The Terps played their first game of the season — a win over Texas, as you might recall — at FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland, so this makes Saturday’s game Maryland’s home opener.
The team on the other side is one that befits a home opener for Maryland. That’d be the Temple Owls, who ride to College Park with an 0-2 record after losses to Villanova (an FCS team) and Buffalo. The spread, which opened at Maryland -11, now favors the Terps by 16.
Maryland’s coming off a 45-14 win over Bowling Green that was much closer than that final score for three quarters. Maryland held the Falcons to a scoreless second half and bursted out for a 28-point fourth quarter. You can read all about that here.
This stream is our home for all Testudo Times coverage leading up to, during and immediately following the Terps’ game against the Owls. We’ll have some reporters on the scene at Maryland Stadium, and we’ll have some others at home on their couches. Hope you’ll follow along!
