Maryland football defeated No. 23 Texas 34-29 to open the 2018 football season Saturday. Freshman Jeshaun Jones led the Terps with three touchdowns, and quarterback Kasim Hill finished with 222 yards passing. After the win, Maryland players celebrated by honoring Jordan McNair, the player who died following a heat stroke at practice in May.
