Jordan McNair (@TheRealJMcNair)

It’s the 119th episode of the Testudo Times Podcast, and we sadly start with the horrible news of Jordan McNair’s passing.

Thomas has thoughts on McNair’s passing to open the show. We recorded the bulk of it before the announcement was made, and we did post the original version of the show on Tuesday night not knowing what was sadly about to come.

Even in times of grief, the show must go on, and there are other Maryland topics we touched upon in the show, including:

  • Maryland’s B1G/ACC challenge opponent is Virginia once again. We look at that, as well as some of Justin Jackson’s recent comments about his shoulder injury from last season.
  • The football team picked up a recruit in Ahmad McCullough. Where does he figure into the squad this coming season?
  • Multiple Terps and Terps-to-be were taken in the MLB Draft. What lies ahead for their future?
  • Thomas talks about Maryland’s track team and their appearances at the NCAA Tournament, and I go on about how great Zack Steffen is.

The GoFundMe page for Jordan McNair’s family fund is still up, and if you can donate, please do. Click right here to do so. Our thoughts are with Jordan’s family and friends and the entire Terps family during these difficult times. Thanks for listening.
