Stefon Diggs wasn’t a household name when he entered the NFL out of Maryland, but his production throughout his first three seasons in the league has turned plenty of heads. And after this jaw-dropping, game-winning 63-yard touchdown in January, he was a household name.
Now, after sporting Under Armour—for whom Maryland is the flagship school—for two years and balling as a free agent this past season, Diggs has signed a deal with Adidas, the company announced in a release Monday. He’s joined by Los Angeles Chargers receiver Keenan Allen and a handful of prospects in the 2018 NFL Draft, including defensive end Bradley Chubb and safeties Derwin James and Minkah Fitzpatrick.
Diggs spent his apparel free-agent season in a series of headline-grabbing custom cleat designs. He scored two touchdowns in Randy Moss tribute cleats in the Vikings’ season opener, then sported a Wheel of Fortune theme the following week. It’s unclear how having a shoe deal will affect these fashion choices. Stay tuned.

The football team has a new commitment for 2019, and it’s three-star offensive tackle Parker Moorer.
Peter King’s first and only NFL mock draft of the spring has D.J. Moore going 19th overall to the Dallas Cowboys. SB Nation’s Dan Kadar, meanwhile, has the wideout going four spots later to the New England Patriots.
