Maryland football plays Illinois for the first time ever on Saturday afternoon. The Terps are looking to move within one win of bowl eligibility and bounce back from a 23-0 loss last weekend at Iowa.
The game will kick off with Maryland’s off-field drama still unresolved. The report on the program’s culture was released Thursday, and decisions on the futures of head coach DJ Durkin, athletic director Damon Evans, university president Wallace Loh and more could come next week. For now, though, interim head coach Matt Canada will lead the Terps for the eighth time this season.
This, as always, is your space for observations, commentary and more. Be respectful, and go Terps.
