After falling to UCF last Saturday, Maryland football looks to rebound on Saturday at noon in its first Big Ten game of the season at Minnesota.
The Terps will look to quarterback Max Bortenschlager to get them back in the win column, but in their way stands the 3-0 Minnesota Golden Gophers, who beat the Terps 31-10 at home last year. This will be a big test for a Maryland team who is lacking a leader at center.
Saturday is a big game for Maryland, and if they want to be bowl-bound this season, they need to win in Minneapolis to have confidence going into the Ohio State game.
The numbers
Maryland: 2-1 (0-0 Big Ten)
Minnesota: 3-0 (0-0 Big Ten)
All-time series: Tied 1-1
Odds: Maryland is a 13-point underdog
