Maryland football received the opening kickoff in Texas, ran two plays for a few yards, and then threw an interception that was returned for a touchdown. Everything seemed rather normal, unfortunately.
Then, this happened.
Then Maryland intercepted a long pass and this happened.
Texas missed a field goal (which is actually normal in college football) and Maryland responded with this.
Yeah, that’s Tyrrell Pigrome, who mightily struggled throwing the ball last year, dropping a dime to take a lead against a ranked team on the road. Cool.
BUT THEN, this.
And then Pigrome threw another touchdown, this time to a dude who hasn’t played a game in, like, forever.
AND THEN THEY RECOVERED A NON-ONSIDE KICK KICKOFF. WHAT.
But Texas wasn’t just going to roll over.
