Maryland football will play Minnesota at noon ET on Fox Sports 1 on Sept. 30, the program announced Monday afternoon.

As a road game in Minnesota, which is in the central time zone, this will be the second Terps game that will kick off at 11 a.m. local time this season; Maryland beat Texas in the other one.

Minnesota will enter the game 3-0 with wins over Buffalo, Oregon State and Middle Tennessee in the first three weeks of the season. The Golden Gophers will have a bye week when Maryland takes on UCF this coming weekend.

The Terps are 1-1 overall against Minnesota, with the Golden Gophers taking the most recent meeting 31-10 in College Park last season in Tyrrell Pigrome’s first college start.
