Maryland punter Wade Lees took linebacker Jalen Brooks with him to Australia

This is the Maryland Minute, a short story followed by a roundup of Terps-related news.

Maryland football released a video summary of the trip Thursday, and it looks like they both enjoyed themselves.

Lees and Brooks had a full docket in the land Down Under. The two went to the Australian Open, saw some wildlife, and each took turns wiping out surfing. Lees says Brooks wasn’t the only person he’s invited to his homeland, just the first to take him up on the offer.
