How to watch Maryland football’s spring game online: Game time, streaming info, schedule & more

This is the only glimpse of Maryland football you’ll get until September.

Maryland football’s 2017 spring game will take place on Saturday at 12:30 at Maryland Stadium. This will be fans’ first chance to see what DJ Durkin’s team looks like in Year 2.

Quarterback Caleb Henderson headlines a slate of players who will be held out for injury reasons, so this won’t be a complete picture of next season’s team. However, a spring game is never a complete portrait of a football team, so this shouldn’t be a giant deal.

If you tune into this scrimmage, which can only be seen on BTN2Go, you’ll still be able to see the likes of Ty Johnson, Lorenzo Harrison, D.J. Moore and some of the Terps’ eight freshmen who enrolled early this spring. It won’t be the most entertaining football you’ve ever seen, but it’s the last football you’ll be able to see until September. Take what you can get.

Spring games aren’t scored in traditional football ways, as its an offense vs. defense competition. Here’s the format for this year’s game, if you’re really that concerned with what’ll be on the scoreboard.
