How to watch Maryland football vs. Rutgers

It’s the Terps vs. the Scarlet Knights on BTN at 3:30.

NCAA Football: Maryland at Rutgers Ed Mulholland-USA TODAY Sports

After a crazy, high-scoring win over the Indiana Hoosiers last weekend, Maryland football returns to action in East Piscataway Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET on BTN.

If the Terps are to obtain bowl eligibility, this game should be viewed as a must win as Maryland will close out the season with games against Michigan, Michigan State and Penn State. After years of futility, Rutgers seems to have made strides this season, winning two conference games and fielding a competent defense.

The Terps showed they’re able to win games in which they are thoroughly out-gained last week against Indiana, and they’ll have to find a way to possess the ball for a longer period of time in order to extend their winning streak.

The numbers

Maryland: 4-4 (2-3 Big Ten)

Rutgers: 3-5 (2-3 Big Ten)

All-time series: Maryland leads, 7-5.

Odds: Maryland is a three-point favorite.
