How to watch Maryland football at Michigan State and basketball vs. Bucknell

It’s the Terps on the gridiron at 4 p.m., then the hardwood at 8:30.

After a blowout loss at home to Michigan, Maryland football travels to East Lansing to take on No. 22 Michigan State at 4 pm on FOX with their bowl game hopes and season on the line.

The Terps must win out in order to become bowl-eligible for the second straight season. In their way are the much-improved Spartans. Unlike last season, when Maryland defeated them in the blackout game, Michigan State is a force to be reckoned with in the FBS. The Spartans currently have the 10th-best rushing defense in the country, and are the fourth-best team in the country in time of possession.

As for Maryland basketball, the 3-0 Terps just came off a 79-65 victory over Butler on Wednesday, and welcome Bucknell to the Xfinity Center Saturday night at 8:30 p.m., the nightcap of this doubleheader.

The Terps are led by Anthony Cowan, who is currently averaging 18.7 points and 8.3 rebounds this season. Alongside him are Kevin Huerter, who is averaging 10.7 points, and Justin Jackson, who is averaging 10.3 boards.

Freshmen Darryl Morsell and Bruno Fernando have been sparks plugs for the Terps so far, energizing the team and the crowd.
