After a week of vague non-answers and uncertainty swirling around Maryland’s starting quarterback, it’s Max Bortenschlager who got the call.
Bortenschlager was hit high and late in last week’s game against Ohio State, forcing him to leave the game, but he’s evidently healthy enough to partake in today’s game. It’s his third start of the season, with the Terps 1-1 in his first two outings.
As he did last week, Caleb Henderson will serve as the team’s second-stringer, with Ryan Brand behind him.
