It’s not immediately clear how far along Likely will be in his recovery and what his availability for the combine will be. This year’s combine is taking place from Feb. 28 to March 6. Likely tore his ACL on Oct. 15, which gives him four and a half months of recovery time before the combine.
Likely had 32 tackles and three pass break-ups in six games during his senior year. He was the only Maryland player to start on both sides of the ball in 2016.
CBS Sports projects Likely to either get drafted in the seventh round or not at all, and ranks him as the No. 34 corner in the draft. He’ll also have value as a kick and punt returner. Likely had eight return touchdowns in his Maryland career.
