Maryland football quarterback Perry Hills went down with another shoulder injury in last week’s loss to Ohio State, and he’s “day-to-day” again prior to the Terps’ game this Saturday against Nebraska.
Here are DJ Durkin’s comments, as transcribed by InsideMdSports’ Josh Stirn:
We’ll continue to prepare ourselves for all those scenarios at that spot. Obviously that’s been something ongoing for awhile. From week-to-week, it might be more severe than others of how Perry’s feeling but we’ve been working through those scenarios all year long and this week won’t be any different.
Hills has been “day-to-day” prior to the Terps’ matchups against Purdue, Minnesota, Michigan State and Michigan already.
As with past weeks, it’s likely we won’t find out who’s starting until Maryland’s offense takes the field against Nebraska. Caleb Rowe has come in at quarterback the past two times Hills went out, so he could be in line for his first start this season if Hills can’t go.
