Maryland football is one win away from bowl-eligibility, and Saturday’s trip to Indiana is a chance for the Terps to secure that necessary sxith win. Last week, the Terps defeated Michigan State 28-17. The win marked quarterback Perry Hills return from injury, and the fifth-year senior led Maryland with 200 yards and two touchdowns.
Ty Johnson and Lorenzo Harrison both scampered for over 100 yards in last week’s victory. Harrison’s 105 yards and one touchdown earned him his first Big Ten Freshman of the Week honor. Maryland will need a balanced attack again as the Terps enter the site of their first Big Ten Conference win in history, coming back in the Randy Edsall glory days of 2014.
Indiana looks to turn fortunes around against Maryland after three straight defeats. The Hoosiers’ last victory came in overtime against Michigan State on October 1.
