MM 8.3: Maryland football makes the top-3 of JUCO CB De’Jahn Warren

This is the Maryland Minute, a short story followed by a roundup of Terps-related news.

Maryland football survived that latest round of cuts by junior college cornerback De’Jahn Warren, as he announced his top-three Sunday.

The Terps, who made Warren’s top-seven in July, are pitted against Georgia and Penn State down the stretch in this recruitment.

Warren, who plays at Lackawanna C.C., is ranked as the No. 2 JUCO prospect in the 2021 class and No. 1 junior college cornerback, according to the 247 Sports composite.

The Terps have played the local angle for Warren who originally played for Suitland before heading to junior college.

Warren previously discussed his recruitment with Testudo Times as things exploded in early 2020. He has since decided to announce his commitment on December 14.
