Tracking early signing day for Maryland football’s 2021 class

After quite the unusual recruiting cycle with restrictions on in-person visits due to COVID-19 policies, National Early Signing Day is here for Maryland football.

This is the first class that head coach Mike Locksley and his staff have been able to focus on for several years, and it promises to be one of the program’s best on recent years.

Coming into signing day, the Terps’ class ranked No. 25 in the country and No. 7 in the Big Ten with 21 commitments.

UPDATE: Head coach Mike Locksley flipped four-star linebacker Brenden Jennings from Michigan. Jennings is the second-highest rated player in the class and a huge get for the Terps.
