The Henry A. Wise product has been considered a Florida State lean for quite some time, and this doesn’t necessarily change anything, but it shows that Maryland is at least on Lytton’s mind.
The two-time Maryland 4A state champion is the No. 26 overall prospect and the No. 3 cornerback in the nation and the top-ranked player in Maryland on the 247Sports Composite.
Lytton visited Maryland on Friday with teammate and 2019 blue-chip recruit Isaiah Hazel. Lytton didn’t set a date for his final decision, but for now, Maryland appears to at least have a chance. Should he choose the Terps, he’d be Maryland’s highest-ranked commit since Damian Prince in 2014.
From here, Lytton will play in the Under Armour All-American Game in January. The Terps have picked up commitments at the game each of the last two years.
