Maryland football commits Breyon and Brandon Gaddy are visiting Florida this weekend

This is the Maryland Minute, a short story followed by a roundup of Terps-related news.

Breyon and Brandy Gaddy committed to Maryland in December following a quick turn of events. The twins had decommitted from Tennessee a week prior, and Maryland’s staff jumped right in and struck while the iron was hot.

The twins committed to Maryland that weekend, but as with any quick decision, they seem to be having some doubts.

They haven’t been offered by Florida yet, but the Gaddys are visiting Gainesville this weekend. It’s a big decision, and they’re gonna weigh all their options.

Scanning recruits’ Twitter accounts is usually a fruitless endeavor, but the twins seem to be up front about their uncertainty.

Maryland desperately needs help on the defensive line. The Terps were dead last out of the 128 FBS teams in adjusted line yards, which measures how many yards the line accounts for on rushing plays. Breyon is a four-star defensive tackle who could receive playing time right away. Brandon’s rated a little lower, but could also challenge as a freshman. Losing them would certainly hurt.

Looks like we might have to wait until National Signing Day (Feb. 1) to find out.
