Five-star Florida defensive end Joshua Kaindoh would be one of the top recruits Maryland football has ever landed, and after a tumultuous few weeks, the Terps are apparently still in play for him.
Kaindoh will announce his commitment Saturday, according to Steve Wiltfong of 247Sports, who is predicting the IMG Academy recruit will choose Maryland.
Maryland's pursuit of Kaindoh has been full of twists and turns. On April 18, 247Sports named Maryland as its predicted destination for Kaindoh. Two days later, he tweeted out his top four schools, and Maryland wasn't one of them.
Still, Wiltfong is picking the Terps to land Kaindoh, saying, "My prediction is Maryland although I expect Kaindoh to still take visits following this decision."
There are few guarantees in the inexact world of recruiting reporting. Still, Wiltfong is one of the best recruiting analysts out there, so his word shouldn't be taken lightly.
For all mentioning it: I'm aware he left Maryland off his top four. We've covered that and more here: https://t.co/GNhp12P6RJ

Maryland is competing against Notre Dame, Penn State, Ohio State and Michigan for Kaindoh's services. Here's his 247Sports Crystal Ball prediction:
