He committed to the Terps a little under two weeks ago, but that wasn’t binding until he signed his letter of intent.
Woods is enrolling for the spring semester, which means the team doesn’t have to count him as a member of the class of 2017. Junior college linebacker Nick Underwood, who committed to the Terps earlier this week, has yet to sign his LOI, but that’s expected soon. We’ll cover that when it happens.
Wednesday was the first day junior college recruits enrolling in the spring were allowed to sign. SB Nation’s Bud Elliot has more on that.

Really like the progression of #Maryland signee Bruno Fernando. Improved his skill set over last year. Plays with energy. Good athlete.

Maryland offensive tackle Michael Dunn will play in the Collegiate Bowl, which appears to be a less-hyped version of the Senior Bowl.
Mike Locksley looked like he was following Lane Kiffin to FAU, until he wasn’t. This Locksley talk made me remember this cool story from my friend Josh Needelman.
In our latest podcast, we wondered if we can really take anything away from Maryland’s nonconference schedule. We also talked more about the Quick Lane Bowl.
Rest in peace, Craig Sager. It’s hard to find someone who was so universally beloved.
I apologize for the lack of content in the past week. Our staff has been busy taking finals, but we’re about to ramp things up real soon. Promise!
