Four-star 2018 corner Kent Montgomery released his top 13 on Wednesday, and Maryland’s on it.
These are my Top schools as of now, but I'm open to other schools down the road. pic.twitter.com/EdbuA63GNp

Montgomery is the No. 46 player in Florida and the No. 34 corner in the class of 2018, per the 247Sports Composite.
What’s this mean? Who knows!
This isn’t to make fun of Montgomery, who’s letting people know where he’s considering lending his considerable football talents. That’s cool, and he has every reason to do so.
But we really won’t know Maryland’s place Montgomery’s mind for a while. If you or your son or daughter attended college, you know how tough it is to narrow things down. In my junior year of high school I was considering around 13 colleges before Maryland ultimately emerged as my clear-cut favorite. The same could be true for Montgomery, but we don’t have any information yet that suggests it will be.
For now, he’s simply a fun prospect to keep an eye on.
