When IMG Academy defensive end Joshua Kaindoh committed to Maryland football back in April, he was a five-star prospect. At the time, he was Maryland’s highest recruit since Stefon Diggs committed to the program in 2012.
Sometime after he committed, his status on the 247Sports Composite rankings moved down to that of a four-star recruit.
247Sports recently did some recruit regrading, which they do all the time, and now Kaindoh’s back to being a five-star player. The Terps have the No. 16 recruiting class in the country, according to the 247Sports.
In an interview with The Diamondback, Kaindoh expressed how he wants to be a part of change for Maryland football. "It's easy to go to a top dog and just do that ... I want to help build us up. It's going up."
Kaindoh is enrolling early, coming to Maryland for the spring semester. He’ll bring along what could be Maryland’s best recruiting class of all time, which should be a comfort to fans who are feeling a bit down on the program during its current losing streak.
