Maryland men’s basketball won its first Big Ten tournament game since March 11, 2016 Thursday, earning a spot in the quarterfinals against top-seeded Michigan.
The Terps fell by double digits in both regular-season matchups against the Wolverines, but Juwan Howard’s squad has shown vulnerability by losing two of its last three games to end the regular season.
Friday’s quarterfinal tips off at 11:30 a.m. on Big Ten Network.
